Pioneer City - Partnership for Climate Neutral Cities 2030
With its participation in the "Mission:Klimaneutrale Stadt", the City of Innsbruck is pursuing the goal of setting the course for achieving climate neutrality. Climate Pioneer City Graz (KPS_Graz)
As an integral part of the ongoing Climate Change Mitigation Plan Graz process, the Climate Pioneer City Graz project with the Federal Ministry for Climate Action, Environment, Energy, Mobility, Innovation and Technology (BMK) will make a noticeable contribution to ensuring that the planned local processes and measures to achieve climate neutrality are implemented more quickly. This will be achieved primarily through the financing of additional climate protection experts in the city administration.

The project responds to the challenges of participation in the energy transition in the municipality of Bruck/Mur by exploring the possibilities of Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs), Peer to Peer Trading (P2P Trading) and virtual metering points for generation plants be developed and implemented as a basis for new tariff/financing models.
Climate-School-Life - Preparation of the climate-neutral educational campus in Gratwein-Straßengel
The project aims to start the transformation process of the educational campus of the market town of Gratwein-Straßengel into climate-neutrality. The need for the expansion and modernisation of the elementary school forms the central part of this development. The project provides an integrated district concept for the four central infrastructure topics of the project: urban development, architecture, mobility and energy. Participation processes of the population and innovative financing models are further components of the exploration.
SAFE - Creating a safe school environment together
Tactical urbanism for the temporary redesign of school surroundings to reorganize school mobility in a participatory process. The resulting catalogue of measures will serve as a blueprint for an implementation at other schools in Austria.
