WISE - Extension of the safety concept for heat pumps with flammable refrigerants for gas boiler replacement
In the project "WISE", safety concepts are being developed for the event of a leak in which flammable refrigerant escapes from the refrigeration circuit. These concepts aim to ensure a higher level of safety for residential installations than is currently required by the safety standard.
Wiener Neustadt Climate neutral
Wiener Neustadt as a pioneering city, is making a conscious and ambitious transition towards climate neutrality. This complex transformation requires different measures. The measures shall both be developed in-house or developed by others and transferred to Wiener Neustadt. The effect of the entire bundle of measures from the different areas (e.g. governance, implementation districts, learning environment or energy, mobility, buildings, etc.) is subject to fact-based climate monitoring.
ZEBdemo - Development and demonstration of a scalable zero emission building for the realization of climate-neutral cities
The ZEBdemo project is developing and demonstrating a scalable zero-emission building that drastically reduces CO2 equivalent emissions during the construction phase by using building materials such as clay bricks and straw insulation. At the same time, operational emissions are minimized through an intelligent, data-driven energy management system.
crowd2raum - Participatory co-financing models for socially innovative and sustainable reactivation for vacancies
As part of the exploratory project "crowd2raum", existing funding and support programmes are being combined with existing crowdfunding mechanisms (imGrätzl.at/WeLocally.at platform) to create a co-financing model for vacancy activation. This will be developed and tested in practice through the activation of four vacant spaces in the base zone in the defined pilot areas in Vienna and Graz.
m-hub - a web-based data hub for collection and query of material compositions of the building stock of the City of Vienna
The project creates a web-based platform with which the material composition of buildings within the city of Vienna can be entered and queried. In the background, a prediction model based on artificial intelligence is trained to make forecasts for buildings that have not yet been cataloged.

Independent detailed testing of the performance and efficiency of different wastewater heat recovery systems in actual operation by analysing measurement data. Evaluation of the analysed systems with regard to their optimal application possibilities.
vilFIT – Villach Fit 4 Urban Mission
In this project, measures, strategies and the necessary capacity building for achieving climate neutrality in the city of Villach will be advanced. The focus is on social and structural innovations (participation processes, development of pilot initiatives, public relations, etc.) as well as the definition of networks and structures or controlling and monitoring instruments.
