Stanz+ - An innovative, energy-flexible plus-energy district - the centre of the village Stanz
Stanz+ is working on the implementation of an energy strategy for structurally weak municipalities with specific measures for revitalisation and re-densification in the building stock as well as the integration of renewable energy sources in the municipality of Stanz im Mürztal (Styria). The project includes multipliable approaches towards energy autonomy, hybrid use of energy networks for flexible usage and an energetic revitalisation of the village centre with the involvement of users in the "Rural Pioneers Community" for the usage of energy services.
SuperQ3 – Neighborhood demonstration of a superblock in the Dreiheiligen district, Innsbruck
SuperQ3 is the first scientifically supported demonstration of the superblock concept in Innsbruck as a model for climate-neutral neighborhood development. The project combines traffic calming, improved environmental and residential quality, and participatory transformation in the district of Dreiheiligen. It will deliver transferable urban modules, practical guidelines, and evidence-based findings for further neighborhoods.

Dieses Projekt zeigt die Machbarkeit des Erkennens von Personen anhand der Reflexion von sichtbarem Licht, hervorgerufen durch die Person selbst, demonstriert, wobei die bestehende Beleuchtungsinfrastruktur zur Personenerkennung ohne Datenschutzbedenken eingesetzt werden kann. Der realisierte Ansatz ist sowohl kostengünstig als auch unaufwändig hinsichtlich der Installationskosten.

The project aims to establish the foundation for a climate-neutral, socially inclusive, and economically viable heating and cooling system in a pioneer city. It combines technical planning with governance approaches and the development of business and operator models. A special focus is placed on anergy networks, which - despite high upfront investments - offer strong potential for low-temperature, dual-purpose heating and cooling supply.

As part of the exploratory project "crowd2raum", existing funding and support programmes were being combined with existing crowdfunding mechanisms (imGrätzl.at/WeLocally.at platform) to create a co-financing model for vacancy activation. This was developed and tested in practice through the activation of four vacant spaces in the base zone in the defined pilot areas in Vienna and Graz.
greening UP! Sustainable green maintenance, maintenance, maintenance of vertical greenery including legal aspects
Based on extensive surveys and analyses of existing vertical building greenery in outdoor areas (floor and system-bound façade greening) and vertical interior greenery, the project developed tailor-made green care, maintenance and repair concepts and addresses legal aspects. The "greening UP!" Knowledge pool with concrete recommendations and clearly presented findings as well as the conception of a digital tool for the "First Green Aid" complete the project.

vilFIT – Villach Fit 4 Urban Mission
In this project, measures, strategies and the necessary capacity building for achieving climate neutrality in the city of Villach will be advanced. The focus is on social and structural innovations (participation processes, development of pilot initiatives, public relations, etc.) as well as the definition of networks and structures or controlling and monitoring instruments.
