Climate prevention model Feldbach 1.0

The municipality of Feldbach would like to express its sincere thanks for being able to participate in the selection of the 13 pioneering small towns in Austria, to be well supported and to learn a lot from each other. Our aim was to develop a holistic climate protection model with professional support and to set short, medium and long-term goals for the four key areas. The consistent implementation of the focal points and their measures and the strong communication and media presentation created a role model function with very strong imitation effects in the economy and among private individuals. By demonstrating innovative solutions and communicating their feasibility, the population becomes aware and believes that significant long-term economic successes can be achieved through early and consistent action. With the consistent objective of "achieving maximum quality of life with minimum energy and resource consumption", we are setting ourselves, as a municipality and as citizens and businesses, a special task over the years, both quantitatively and qualitatively, which should lead to a refined lifestyle and economic culture. Through the consistent development of the holistic climate protection model, the prevailing powerlessness has also given way to a newfound confidence in its feasibility. May this confidence inspire us in the coming years to work together to make the town of Feldbach and our living space climate-friendly. Thank you for your commitment and joint implementation.
