Leonding on the Path to Climate Neutrality - Climate Neutrality Roadmap Leonding

Building on existing concepts and strategies such as the Leonding Climate Strategy, the Climate Balance, the Mobility Concept, and the KEM Implementation Strategy, a comprehensive climate neutrality roadmap or vision for a climate-neutral Leonding by 2040 will be developed with the involvement of various stakeholders from politics, administration, business, and civil society.

Throughout the project, measurable goals and the corresponding investment needs will be derived. Additionally, the climate impact achievable with each measure will be assessed. A special focus is on securing and further developing Leonding as a sustainable and climate-neutral business location. The result will be a clear implementation plan divided into short, medium, and long-term solutions.

It is of utmost importance to us to establish measures and procedures not only on a global scale but especially locally in Leonding, which will collectively guide us on the path to climate neutrality.
